Are you an avid reader? The Salem State University Alumni Association has launched a virtual book club through PBC Guru! Connect with other alumni from anywhere in the world and enjoy reading different books in a virtual community!
We are excited to announce we have chosen “The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business” by Charles Duhigg for our first book.. In the book, Charles explains why habits exist and how they can be changed. By understanding how habits work, we can transform our businesses, our communities and our lives.

Salem State University students have the incredible opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico for an alternative spring break trip experience with ServeUp. They will be working with a non-profit, disaster relief organization, Saint Bernard’s Project, to rebuild lives through rebuilding homes.

The Salem State University Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award is given annually to a Salem State student, alumna/us, faculty member, and staff or administrator for their outstanding and significant contributions to the cause of freedom, justice, peace and equality. Nominate someone by January 17!
Join us for the 30th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation on January 27! We can’t wait to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, a New York Times bestselling author and the founding director of The Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University in Washington, D.C.
