Alumna Awarded Teaching Fellowship by French Government |
Congratulations to Giana DiGiulio ’17, who was recently selected for the Teaching Assistant Program in France. She will be teaching English in a French school during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Dedication and Celebration of Charlotte Forten Park!

We hope you will join us and the city of Salem on Friday, September 20 for a celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly named Charlotte Forten Park! Charlotte Forten, class of 1856, was Salem State’s first African American graduate and is being honored by the city for her tireless advocacy for the end of slavery, equality for women and people of color and education for all.
