SPOTLIGHT: Salem State's Graduation Rate Reaches 58 Percent!
Spring Graduation Students in caps and gowns

Salem State University's six-year graduation rate for 2017-2018 academic year has risen to 58 percent, a six-point increase over the past year!

"The hard work and commitment of our students, faculty and staff has put our graduation rate on an impressive upward trajectory," said Salem State President John Keenan. "This growth speaks not only to the resources that our campus community provides, but to the commitment our students have to their own success."

A meal in the company of others can be unnerving when you're unsure of which fork is appropriate for a particular course. Join us for the Business Etiquette Dinner on February 19 at 5:30 pm in the Hawthorne Hotel and learn how to enjoy dining in any setting, whether it is a casual bite, a business dinner or a formal affair.

'17 Grad Makes a Splash on "Wicked Tuna"

When Joe Marciano ’17 was a sophomore in high school in 2012, he became involved with the National Geographic documentary series, “Wicked Tuna.” The show follows several captains in the tuna industry, including Joe’s father. He not only helps with marketing for his father’s business but is also captain of the fishing vessel Hard Merchandise and enjoys exciting opportunities like fishing West Coast Blue Fin in California and hosting New England Patriots players as clients on the family vessels. Learn more about Joe and his experiences!
